How to register
Register online
Registration is open in the new year and closes ahead of the season. Payment is by card.
What you'll need
- Player's full name and date of birth
- Parent or guardian contact details
- Emergency contact
- Any medical information coaches should know
Membership & insurance
Every player is registered with Football Alberta. That membership carries $5 million in liability and accident insurance, and it is what makes a player eligible for Minor Provincials.
Why it matters
Insurance is active from the moment a player is registered. Registering on time is what keeps your player covered — including at spring camp and out-of-season practices.
When it runs
Football Alberta membership and insurance run on the calendar year, 1 January to 31 December.
Good to know
Cleats
Cleats are the only thing you need to buy. If that's a barrier, donated cleats are available — just ask.
Volunteering
This programme runs on volunteers. Every family is asked to help in some way during the season.
Refunds
If your player can't continue, talk to us early — the sooner we know, the more we can do.
