About the association

A volunteer-run Alberta incorporated society, putting Taber kids on the field since 1999.

Who we are

The Taber Football Association is an Alberta incorporated society, established in 1999. We run community football at four levels — Atom, PeeWee, Bantam and High School — with a stated mission of giving every child from grades 3 to 12 the opportunity to play.

We are run entirely by volunteers: coaches, managers, equipment volunteers, concession staff and board members. Registration fees and local sponsorship are what fund the programme.

Where we play

Ken McDonald Memorial Sports Park

7301 50 St, Taber, Alberta

This association drove the development of the field, the locker rooms, the announcer booth, the concession and the lights. Volunteer Keith Williams led the original field development — a debt this programme still owes him.

Volunteer-built

Almost everything at that park was built by people who volunteered their time. If you can swing a hammer, run a grill or hold a clipboard, there's a place for you.

Tyler Williams Memorial — number 60, 1983 to 1996

In memory of Tyler Williams

#60 — remembered by this association.
